The project is part of an over-arching ambition to create a non-toxic and bio-based alternative to toxic and fossil-based impregnation treatments that can be offered to industrial stakeholders. The project is primarily technical and aimed to advance the technological maturity of impregnation using bio-based oil through classification and verification of oil and impregnated wood.
